WHAT IS LIFE TEEN?
Life Teen is a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church, Life Teen leads teenagers into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, Life Teen seeks to unleash the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church.
WHEN & WHERE DO WE MEET?
All High School Teens (9th-12th) are welcome to attend our Life Nights on Sunday Nights following the 5:30 pm Mass. Dinner is provided for the Teens.
We welcome anyone who is interested in working with the youth to Volunteer! There are several opportunities for you to get involved. We are in need of Core Members, Dinners, and Prayers. For additional information please contact Patience Clasen by email: firstname.lastname@example.org

EVENTS FOR LIFE TEEN :
The Diocese of Biloxi Youth Convention will be held on March 20-22. Conference is held at the Gulf Coast Coliseum which invites all the parishes to come together with their youth groups to celebrate the faith through Community, Mass, Keynote Speakers, and Worship. 9th through 12th grade are invited to this weekend.
Search Weekend is peer guided and peer given by a Diocesan youth and adult team. It will be held at Sacred Heart Retreat Center in Dedeaux on January 10-12, 2020 & February 7-9, 2020. It is designed for high school teens (grades 11-12). Applications will be accepted according to grade levels with SENIORS having first priority. We will accept up to 45 participants for each weekend, and up to 3 to 4 people from each parish. Fee for the weekend is $80.00 This fee includes sleeping quarters, meals, and all the materials for the weekend.
Steubenville Atlanta will be held on July 10-12 2020. Each summer, Life Teen hosts six different Steubenville Youth Conferences with the hopes of strengthening and inspiring teens and youth groups in their collective journeys with Christ. Evangelistic in nature, these weekend conferences are both a great “introduction” to the Gospel message for new or younger teens, while offering deep and moving experiences of prayer and fellowship for those who already have a personal encounter with Christ.
NCYC is the National Catholic Youth Conference. It is an exciting, biennial three-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers and their adult chaperones. Freshman in high school through Freshman in college are welcome to attend. This conference is from November 21st – 23rd, 2019 in Indianapolis, IN. The schedule includes keynote addresses, prayer, workshops, liturgy, and opportunities for to participate in reconciliation and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, recreational activities, concerts, exhibits, and an interactive thematic park. If you are interested in joining our diocese for the trip; fill out the application and mail in your nonrefundable deposit of $100 (1790 Popps Ferry Rd, Biloxi, MS 39532). We plan on leaving Wednesday evening (November 20th) and returning on Sunday afternoon (November 24th). Total cost of the trip is $550 (This includes travel, hotel, registration, tradeables, and a T-shirt).
